Putin is a bully and Ukraine should be a free and independent country. But the reality is the majority of people that vote republican oppose this funding, so do half the independents. Funding this and not our own security as well, is a massive fuck up. This will hurt this country. Debt is debt, this isn't a huge addition but it is an addition. The security of our national borders however is worse than it has been in decades. That's not OK. The world is not so safe and free of threats that we can have an open border. That's not responsible governance for our people. I hope nothing happens because of the border situation, if it does, Ukraine will not be on anyone's priority list. |
