Nothing fancy here. I quit farming 20 years ago. The old Farmtrac is actually bigger than I need.

46 hp nothing crazy - but I tilled the garden yesterday. I swear getting the pto connected takes more time than the tilling. Some nice machines posted.

So far this year have already used it to move more clay into leaky pond, build a large 2-tier retaining wall on a hilly section that sucked to mow, graded the drive and cleared culverts, and the tilling.

A pic from firewood season:

2017 JD 3046R.  This thing is a BEAST!  It is kind of amazing the amount of work you can do with a small tractor.  I love it.

After I finished I had to wash her up, and of course take pics.

Enough doom and gloom for a while, show off your tractors.

i spread a load of dirt around to fix some low spots yesterday, probably the first time the bucket has moved in a year or so.  always pallet forks or the squeezer picker upper

and even with spreading shit if i want it really nice i'll still end with the grabby bucket

My old tractor completely died about 10 years ago. I finally bought a new one, but the place had grown up over the last few years. I bought an MX6000 with a grapple over about a 6 weeks after work, I took the whole place back. Ride the 2 or 3 inch tree down, reposition and rip it up by the roots. Its been a life saver

Im getting rid of my MX, the most gutless tractor Ive ever owned. Im surprised the FEL can even lift its own bucket. I own a b2920 and a KX040 and love them, but for the compact Im going back to Kioti.

Which one do you have, mine has done everything I needed it too. I had a tree guy remove a white oak that the top was dying, base was 32 inches. I had him cut the trunk in 9 foot section to make it cheaper on me. It moved it all with a box blade for ballast.

My buddy has all galvanized implements. I couldn't afford it and stuck with powder coat.

He said if available he'll get that because growing up he's seen stuff like mowers just rot away.

That was me last October.  Took a couple hours of chain to trees and pulling with the hydraulics, but at the end of the day pulling with the backhoe finally coaxed it out.

Looks like a toy here, but is almost 7K as it sits.  I have a grapple for it as well, but leave the bucket on 90% of the time.  In reality I would love another one.  Leave one to do mini TLB stuff, and one with a grapple and chipper on it.

(un)Patented drum lid valve stem protectors.

For those of you with 24" rim diameters who work in the woods I highly recommend this. Thread the wheel weight attachment holes in the wheel 3/4-10 , install threaded rod for stand offs, some 3/8 fuel line too snug the outer diameter, put the bung over the valve for service.

Nothing worse than shearing of a valve with a fluid filled tire in an area completely inaccessible. After this happened to me the first time, it never happened again. (*was in the tire business and saw sheared valves countless times)
