Just trying to bring awareness to the absolute garbage that amazon sells, that headline page always looks great until you click on the seller.

I like how they add the "CE" mark as if that means anything.

You have now given me a project to add a zip line at my house as well.

With your favorite gal, go out in the woods, throw the line over a good branch of a tree. Attach a sex swing.

Have fun.

They used it to winch an 1800 lb cape buffalo into the bed of the truck, it was impressive. What was also impressive was 6-7 trackers piled in the bed of the truck with the buffalo and 4 more men were in the cab, that little diesel Toyota truck never even grunted pulling all that weight out of a creek bottom.

That is a more common arrangement. The PH on my last trip had his set up like that.

I used it to move a shed. ETA those are my parents posing for the picture acting like they were actually doing something (as usual)

You could do like a guy at the power company who got stuck, double blocked his winch to something, and pulled his truck in half basically.

That's how you end up with all your fluids running into places they aren't supposed to go.

All right, great ideas so far!  I forgot until just now that I did use my winch a few years ago to open a Bitburger after a backpacking trip:

I have also moved tons of large rocks with mine using an old tire chain as a sort of web sling to wrap around them.

Not a truck, but mine gets used a lot to adjust other vehicles.

My previous lawyer told me to stop doing that, for liability reasons.

Good one.
We moved a big metal carport a few feet for a guy once.
Dang handy when you need one.

The trick would be to anchor the car to something else with a double loop, and then pull a line in between them from the opposite side ~otherwise you're mostly going to pivot the car...
