No shit? That is awesome! I remember sitting in the theater when the lights went down, then the opening theme music started. One of the most memorable movie experiences ever for me.

In the scene where they are fighting on the overpass, the alien infantry are bringing up that walking cannon. It appears to be malfunctioning and the aliens are kicking it and you just know they are cussing supply and maintenence and being issued junk equipment just like any human infantry would. I enjoyed the simple stuff that was written in to it like that.
