Some people do genuinely change. I am way to the right of most people I know. But, my first political act was campaigning for Cal Winslow and Eldridge Cleaver in '68. That silliness didn't last long at all.

One thing I don't think the "deep thinkers" here consider is that there are non leftist Dems that probably have always considered her to be a reasonable voice and I'd wager a good number of them still do.
What that means is that she is exposing those folks to ideas that just might make them question their historical democrat support, if infact this is a "ruse" and she's playing folks how would that serve the democrat party? If the "ruse" is just her trying to grift and that "ruse" results in peeling away votes from the dems then IDGAF what her motivations are. |

Why is this difficult? When you’re at war and one of the other side shows up in camp claiming they want to defect, you don’t send them away. We need all the help we can get, and it’s better to have one less enemy to fight.
BUT - You don’t trust them. Trust, especially from a former enemy, is going to be EARNED. It’s going to take a lot of action to reach a point where you expose your back to somebody like Tulsi. |
