Would have said plenty of high schoolers would love a cheap Jeep, especially teenage chicks.

But then you said manual. No one in that market wants a manual...no one knows how to drive a manual in that market segment.

Those that do will the 6 cyl.

Could have sold the 4cyl to a girl, but not a manual 4 cyl.

Huh.  Is having 3 kids a deal killer?  Asking for a friend.

Market value is still good for TJs. OP you said you haven't been underneath, so it hasn't ran for a while or you don't change your own oil?  That's usually when I check on issues. If yours is solid and overall decent condition you should do well.

I just flipped 225K on mine yesterday. Daily driver  in Charlotte traffic, put about 120m on a day. With a stick and I have old knees. It's not as bad as some make it sound. You should have no issue selling.

Eta: for listing go to Autotrader as well. In my experience it gets a lot of traffic too with more serious buyers. Know someone who picked up a Jeep almost 2 states away because it was easier to find what he was looking for.

I say list it for $10k and take $8-9k for it.

I drive it once every week or so to keep the fluids moving, but I don’t do my own maintenance.

@762xIAN

It’s in Alexandria, VA now. We’re moving to WV sometime next year after our build is done.

It’s a manual with the 4cyl. Pics are a couple posts up

looks good.

Looks like possible rust on the usual spot on the fenders

Depending on how the frame looks and other usual rust locations on the body 5-8k

I bought a low rust 4.0l with 130k miles for $7k last year.

Hahaha, when I bought it in '02 there were a bunch of moto stickers on the windshield. They wore off over the years, but it was pretty USA ! USA! when I bought it.
