i thought that was a little premature on the lock myself.
i know that's a topic that's been beaten to death but alot of members are concerened about new guys getting burned by them.

The other moderators have CLEARLY explained in words that a [b]five year old[/b] could understand the reason the posts were locked. So if you'd like to argue the merits of their arguments permission granted.

If there are words or concepts in the locked posts that you are not clear on please feel free to contact me or another moderator for help.

If you just want to keep bitching and bitching and bitching and bitching I will just keep locking and locking and locking and locking your threads until I get tired and lock your account.

so basically no one can continue a discussion on this issue? There wasn't anything on that other thread that was a violation of the rules.  Paul i haven't had any problems with your stuff in the past but that was a little hasty. I guess if a topic is not considered PC by the mods it's off limits now. I know rguns is sponsoring the site and we should all welcome their money but i think we should also have the freedom to complain if they are ripping folks off. There have been MANY complaints against them. I'm sure some were blown out of proportion but i can't believe they were all made up.
If Paul Podhorn decides to advertise here will we have to see banners from him as well?

I didn't even concider it PC or not - just boring, simple, and repetitive! Like I said - if MACV had something to add to the conversation - like being involved would be nice - then the post would have flown.


had already been discussed by another moderator when the original posts were locked. This story has been floating on the net since Jan/Feb if I recall correctly. Both sides had their say in a quite ugly manner - and both had some merit if they're to believed.

MACV's tread contributes nothing to the debate and is pretty damn rude. He's got 7 posts under his belt on this sight when he starts the posts which seems pretty much like a troll or bomb thrower to me.

And my offer still stands - if you'll add something to the conversation then the post will stand and if he's just going to fill up the forum with me too crap he's toast.

And besides - he asked a simple question to which I provided the definitive answer a clear one word nope, almost funny I though.

To answer your question: no, I will not provide you my personal information for you to "post all over the internet". Sure sounds like a threat to me... and you haven't used my email address yet.

My e-mail and name are very public, I have over 5000 post here in the past four or five years and hundreds of posts on the email listing. My email is listed in my profile if you wish to use it.

And now for MACV's benefit I will change my signature to a warning to avoid doing business with RGUNS so that if a new member happens to sign on and not find MACV's latest posting warning everyone to avoid doing business with them they might by chance catch my signature.
