Thanks for the question! There isn't a Butler Creek option, but our O-56 Defender cap works well!

I had a used Vortex Sparc 2 donated for the build by an individual. The problem is, the dot flickers very badly. I replaced the battery and tried to make sure the cap was making correct contact with the battery. Are these repaired, or replaced? I hope that it is able to be repaired, as opposed to replaced. The applicator cerekoted the sparc as well to make it a complete package. Please advise on how to proceed. Here are some photos. Fantastic customer service! I sent in a PST 1-6 GenII from the EE. Glass was great but the turrets seemed incredibly tight so I sent it in. They looked it over, changed the lubricant in the turrets, purged the tube re-zeroed and had it back to me within 7 days. You guys rock, makes me want to spend Razor money with ya for both a scope and binos.

Huge +1 for vortex. Dumped my rifle and razor hd 1-6 on concrete. Dented the tube out past the objective. It didn't effect function but I wanted it fixed. Sent it in fully expecting to pay, but vortex repaired it for free and had it back to me within a week. Excellent and painless customer service.

@VortexOptics, Do you know if Vortex Defender scope lens covers are covered by the lifetime warranty? I bough a set for my Weaverscope. One cover works fine but the other one doesn't latch closed properly. Sometimes it opens when I barely touch the rifle. Very annoying. I bought them about a year ago but never installed them until recently.
Honestly, I expected better quality from Vortex. These caps weren't cheap. |

I bought the Vortex Viper PST-624 F-1M years ago and it has spent its life in a safe unitl yesterday.
I have it mounted on a Gen. 1 RPR 6.5 Creedmor, I installed a fresh battery and was pretty excited to finally shoot this thing. Me and several other precision shooters tried to figure out the problem, it is definitely a little blurry and hazy when set on full power . I like to turn this thing up as I can see my targets so much better, I have to actually reduce magnification to get more clarity. Now if this is a design flaw or pure physics, I understand but what is my next option at this point? This is basically a brand new scope but has obviously seen several years of evolution and upgraded new designs are on the market already. I'd like to stick with an MRAD FFP and obviously returning it to Vortex will result in a review of a perfectly functioning factory fresh optic. Is there a scope that is exactly like this that does not have this little "error" at 24X? If so, can I get this one replaced? I spent a lot on this item back in the day, and I'd like to stick with Vortex. |

Just wanted to give a big shout out to Vortex and their warranty. I dropped my well worn Diamondbacks on the duck boat floor from about 6' up on 9/21 and they broke in half, these were probably 4-5 years old, used hard and often under some really bad conditions. Vortex had them in hand on 9/26 and I had a brand new pair at my doorstep on 10/5, no questions asked.
The difference in optical quality from my originals and the new ones is night and day, I still can't believe it. Thanks again for standing behind your products 100%. |

I knew Ambien wasn't for me after I ate two entire holiday pies that were needed for the next day and spent thousands of dollars online while eating them.
