By all means show me good documentation of midlength systems superiority and how they are a huge improvement over Carbine.....I'll wait.
If you plan on quoting Filthy14 or something they also had a 6940 with 15,000+ rounds with no replaced parts.
The 6940 exploded along with several others from different owners around that time. Never saw a report of why.
that carbine exploded due to bad ammo, that was proven and explained, by Rogers,as well as colt after it was sent back. faulty "m193" round blew the gun
the "others" where the same gun, posted over multiple places. if you have proof of "several other" please post a link to them.
+1, it was bad ammo. Pat doesnt like Colt because of their CS, he mentioned somewhere something to the effect of they wouldnt replace the rifle after the KB. It still made it to 15,000 with no parts replacement.
yes, Pat doesnt like Colt because of their CS,
of course it also doesnt help that they dont sell a gun with his name on it with a discount to go to his class along with giving him guns pretty much constantly. for free.
and said gun gets a full page advert in SWAT magazine every month along with his monthly column. lol
Im sure that doesnt have nothing to do with his not liking Colt much. Pats dislike for colt seems to have manifest around the same time BCM started making EGA/Pat Rogers carbines. Before that he was all for colt. lol Im sure those have nothing to do with each other.
Kinda like Howe saying the LWRC and DPMS were the best rifles evah!! the same time a CSAT model was offered by each. My policy is, I dont trust a word out of a trainers mouth about guns quality if they have a gun being made with their name on it and the gun they are bad mouthing is not the same as the one they are shilling.
of course, common sense and brand reputation speak for itself in most cases. I have only met one person that believed a gun being sold by a trainer, with trainers name on it, was THE BEST. ANd he worships the guy, so its no surprise. Everyone else with any experience trusts their own opinion after researching the MFG making said name marked guns. One thing I have noticed lately is Larue makes the Costa edition. made to Costas own specs to meet the highest demand blah blah blah. yes, after the first few weeks. every picture of costa on his FB page of him training or on the web and youtube, Costa is using a KAC. lol Seems typical for this kinda thing
