Thank you!

I want to upgrade the glass but I don't know what to go with. My range is only 600 yards (steel at 690ish) and I rarely go past 10 power. Thinking NXS 2.5-10 but then I loose the tree reticle which I use often.

Love my 2.5-10 NXS but I really love my 2-20 NX8 with the MIL-XT reticle.

I think you just described the perfect spr/ dmr scope. I too would happily throw $2k at this NF.

Is that an ATACR or NXS. If it is one of the ATACRs, how do you like it? Im trying to convince myself to order one over a Zeiss or something like that (durability isnt too much of a factor)

NXS 2.5-10, I love it! It very light and the glass is clear and bright. You can get a better reticle and some more magnification in an ATACR but at a substantial weight penalty. I also have a NX8 2.5-20 with the Mil-XT reticle. If I ever ditched the NXS I’d probably look at another NX8.

@TEXASGUNGUY022003

Absolutely love it. I’ve been using a 2.5-10x24 NXS on this rifle for years and I was happy with it. I actually picked up the 4-16 for a different rifle that wasn’t finished at the time so I tossed it on the KAC to see how I’d like it. Well the ATACR stayed on this rifle and the rifle I was building ended up with a different optic.

Other than field drab what other colors you got there?  Rifle is beautiful

ETA:  Did you also spray the badger in field drab or is that a RAL8000

My 16 and 18 inch SPR.  The scope on my 16" is getting changed out to an Athlon 2-12 ffp.  Top has a Rainier Arms Match grade barrel and the 18" is  WOA mk2.5 I got off someone on Arf.

Thoughts and impressions on that B5 PRS?  I’m trying to get over the looks of it’s a functional and comfortable stock optio compared to my Gen2 Magpul PRS?

I love it. Even more so than my LMT DMR stock. It’s very functional to shoot with. Originally had an LMT SOPMOD on there, but they don’t work too well with a squeeze bag.

Yeah see I have two Gen2 PRS stocks and I love my LMT DMR so I guess I’ll try it!!  You go short, medium or long?  Only 1/2” difference in each version per specs I read

I don't yet have a squeeze bag, but I've been using an Ozark Trail camp pillow in the stuff sack and it actually works remarkably well to support a stock while shooting prone.
