Thank you.

Someone donated one of these litters to us and I was a little leery of it.  Prefer SKED but could see that this is a little more "quick deployable".  I'll have to experiment.  Must be for only short carries with only a provision for two people carry.

So sorry for drift on this awesome thread.

Regards.

Can anybody tell what is mounted in front of the rear sight on the upper receiver M4 on the left? Looks sorta like a mini red dot, but that seems redundant since it looks lined up with the Eotech.

There are some new AFSOC photos that show a NC Star MLOK extended FSP hand guard being used along with some BCM furniture (stock, pistol grip). Does anyone have experience with the NC Star rail? It doesn't look very robust, and I'd be shocked if it could hold a zero with a laser if it was pushed up against a barricade. I'd like to learn more if anyone has experience with it.

It seems like there is nor a uniform stock, grip, BUIS,  light, or optic for the PJ's weapons. The only thing  uniform is the DD Omega rail and Surefire Flash hider. What is the current light for the Airforce  PJ's weapon platform? I saw a lot of M952 lights but nothing else

I don't think so. Looks like a factory mount to me. Notice how long the mount is and the angled portion of it.

This applies to the FX/CQT 9MM Simunition kits, but there are also 5.56MM variants that can use standard 5.56MM magazines as well.  They're drop in bolt carrier groups with blue markings, indicating that they're for training use.  The more common version is the UTM/CCMCK, though Simunition "proper" makes one, too:

This top photo has the same mount. I agree with squirrel. It appears to be a stock aim point mount.

Good call.  The NCStar rail uses a standard delta ring, while the Geissele uses a proprietary barrel nut.  The pic definitely has the NCStar rail.

My humble contribution: Crappy pic of my assault pack from when I was OPFOR, but those rifles in the background are 150% genuine AFSOC.

My guess it is just a training rifle.  Do you guys see the blue bolt?  So it is a simunition gun.

They don't swap out the whole rifle, just use Simunition bolts and mags in their issued noise maker.
