I cant have a bayonet lug here in NY, but I do have the USMC OKC3 in my collection.  Great blade.  I also have the M9, and it too is good.  ZT knives makes a quality bayonet that is worth a look.  Good luck.

For 16" barrels I use a mid-length gas system and handguards....with a pinned A2 flashhider it falls out about right for using a "7"....
