Your basically looking for a semi auto M60 Or M240 Bravo. I think the advantage of the AR platform is lighter weight. I'm not sure you could get the necessary mechanical parts in an AR upper though. Belt fed weapons tend to have a wider top profile than magazine fed weapons. |

Does it need to be AR-lower based? Or are you just looking for any kind of semi-belt fed? ~Augee |
