I built a .300 blackout pistol with the CMMG 8 inch barrel. It is a heck of a good plinker so far out to 100 yards. I have put about 300 rounds through it so far. |

I have an 8.5 inch cmmg upper and use a yhm S.S. 7.62 phantom with it . I never had an issue with mine shooting sub sonic or super sonic rounds . I kill critters with it frequently .

I have a CMMG barrel, and gas tube for my 8" pistol build. They seem like a good company with quality products. Their prices are also very competitive. I'd say do it.

This is the upper that I will be using to complete my AR pistol. Primary Arms is selling it and they have an excellent reputation. I will have first hand knowledge in about a month and I'll post a thorough review. |
