Primary Arms 3X Long Eye Relief Magnifier

Second Generation with higher shock rating. Primary Arms 3X Long Eye Relief Magnifier. A generous 2.8" of eye relief addresses on of the biggest complaints about AR magnifiers!

Now rated for use on .762 AR platform and AKs. The extra eye relief created a lot of interest in higher caliber weapons were a magnifier was not commonly used so we beefed up the turrets to prevent any dot shift.

So these will work with an Aimpoint Micro in lower 1/3 mount correct?
Just have to choose the correct mount for the magnifier?

Very interested in picking one of these up. What would be the correct height QD/Pivot mount for this with an EoTech 517? Does the magnifier increase dot moa? From say 2moa@100yds to 6moa@100yds. And will the AMD mount work well with a Aimpoint Pro?

It magnifies the dot and target so a 2MOA dot still covers the same amount of the target with the magnifier in place.

The tall ADM works great with the PRO. The internal adjustments in the mangifier compensate for the small height difference.

It will with our QD mount. The ADM will if you can push the front past the end of the rail. Do you have standard hand guards?

I have MOE handgaurds. Ideally, I'd like to use a flip to side type mount if possible.

Eotechs retain a 1 moaning dot regardless of magnification.

Eotechs retain a 1 moaning dot regardless of magnification.

Well not exactly. The EOTech reticle gets magnified along with the target just like other red dots. The center dot on EOtech is really smaller than 1 MOA to start with. .56 if I remember right. Your eye can't really process anything smaller so it looks like 1 MOA. As it gets magnified it still looks close to the same size.

The bottom line EOTechs do work very well with a magnifier. The one in the photo above is a EXPS 3-2. Circle with two dots. Both dots look very clear with the magnifier in place.

Have you had any more complaints on the standard FTS bundle vs the ADM bundle? Just curious because if the only difference is $50 and maybe a little more durability, the standard will do just fine for me, but if the ADM holds it much more secure and/or locks better in the in/out position I'd have to go with that.

The PA flip is out if stock with no firm ETA so it is a easy choice.

The height is to give you a good cheek weld on a AR15 and to allow cowitness with the iron sight when just the red dot is used. The taller ADM magnifer mount will line up and clear a rear flip in the down position.

Hi i was wondering would I be able to mount the eye relief with the adm swivel mount on my larue lt110 mount with my eotech 512 and it line up with the eotech still?

Is the PA FTS mount absolute or 1/3 cowitness (the site says standard, just wanted to be sure)? I forgot to ask that before. I run a standard height Comp M4 and dont want to buy a new mount for that, and I know the ADM is 1/3.

Actually both are lower 1/3 but the tall is a little taller and works better with the raised base EOtechs.

Im a little confused on which mount to pair this magnifier with. Im currently using a PA 30mm red dot and I would like a flip to the side mount instead of the swing away mount. Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry I missed this post!! Flips do take up some extra room over the QD. Our tall flip is sceduled to arrive late this month. The tall ADM swing away and the tall LaRue on the high end.
