It's nice to see that they are releasing different lengths. My friend has the 12" and I am in love with it. I'm hoping the release a 9" version next. I need one for my current build.

All gone already I have been waiting to see if they released em. Following on fb regularly. Damn I missed out hopefully another batch soon.

So does the 12 inch REV weigh less than plastic handguards and delta ring and all that jazz?

I remember when they first came out on here. I was hoping to see a 14" and now they are available! SWEET!

Will the 14" work with an AAC 51T mount? Will there be enough room for the AAC latch to be depressed?

Any chance for Fortis/Rainier keymod panels? The Noveske Keymod panels fit great on the Fortis. |

How much does it wiggle? The only 100% wiggle-free forearm I've ever owned was an ARMS. It's my only concern with trying a new brand. |

I have used Larue, Midwest, Troy, and Fortis. The only way the REV could wiggle is if your barrel nut was loose. And if it's wiggling you probably have bigger problems. The more I look at the 14" rail, the more I like my 12". I like the longer rail on an 18" or longer barrel. I don't like the rail to be as long as the barrel except on SBRs. If you are on the edge considering trying the REV, my advise is do it. You will not regret it. |

There in stock at Rainer Arms today in both lengths [+] Fortis REV™ Free Floating Rail System - 12" $199 and 14" $218.
A bit steep for me and Nordic Components has carbon models that weigh 6 to 7 oz. and there house aluminum brand for half that price. I used the 15" FF and solid as a ROCK Anyhow a very cool looking hand guard and lots of picatinny space... |
|
Does anyone know if these will work on a Mega billet upper?
ETA: I email Rainier and they said it does fit, for anyone else who might come upon this looking for an answer. |

Can we get some more pics of a 14" paired with a 14.5" barrel? I ordered the wrong length (was driving and ordering from my phone) but Rainier Arms shipped it out already.

My debit card got jacked and I just got a replacement today, othewise I would have ordered one a week ago on payday. I placed the order within moments of activating the new card. Gotta break it in right! |

Gotta break it in right! No better way to do it. Whenever the smoke clears from some recent purchases I am going to order a couple more Revs to replace a couple Troy Alphas. I love this rail. After looking at the pictures I don't really care for the looks of the 14" except on an 18" or longer barreled uppers. I think 12" looks perfect for 14.5" to 16". |

I just received my "14 inch" REV. It's actually 14.75". Top rail goes out to T50...same as my 15" Midwest Industries SS-Gen 2, just doesn't extend past T50 as far.

I bought four like a dumbass, you know - just in case... It's cool though, I ended up selling the other two and making some $$$. It gets my vote for rail of the year so far. Unbelievably light, rock-solid, functional, ergonomic (with some modifications), nice looking, affordable, super easy to install... awesome... I'd say be on the lookout for Fortis. I've been using their RAP and QD end plates as well and have been equally impressed. |

Will this rail fit over a KX3? Not even close. Good thing I saw this, was actually thinking about this rail with a flaming pig for an SBR build. |
