Over the past weekend, Defense Distributed successfully 3D-printed and tested a magazine for an AR semi-automatic rifle, loading and firing 86 rounds from the 30-round magazine. And they posted the 3D-printable magazine blueprints on its website, Defcad.org
Time to buy a 3d printer I think  just thought I would let you guys know.Edit: *changed clip to magazine* |

Nice. Looks like they're working on a printable screen and even a whole gun made from as many printable parts as possible. I'm downloading the "mega pack" right now. I don't have a 3D printer or any experience in CAD/CAM but the best defense to digital infringement is for as many people as possible to have their own copy of the data.
