I really don't need them, have plenty of 30 rounders thanks to the Boulder Airlift (thanks MAGPUL!), but I ordered 2 anyway.
Right now ordering from their site is only for people in Colorado. They stated on their facebook page that most key suppliers either already have them in stock or they are on their way there. So for out of Staters, you'll have to order them from Brownells or Midway for now. |

I'm not sure how I feel about this.
I think the 30 rounder's are good enough.. There are benifits to having more rounds.. but also you have to factor in the added weight for all your magazines.. it adds up. |

I saw the pic of it on their facebook page and went 'wtf' because I hadn't read the caption yet lol.
Just when I thought I had all the PMAGs I need. Oh well, now I can load two 20rd boxes of ammo instead of 1.5 into a mag. :-P |

The way I'm going to view these 40 rounders is that I just want two of them to have as my primary mags that remain in the mag well. Since they don't fit most pouches, I will still rely on standard issue 30-rd mags as backup mags.
For hunting or range time, I prefer the 20-rd mags to save weight or rest on bench. Just my two cents... |
