A couple of things here....We do have a NV forum here NV Forum as well.

First, putting a NVD behind an ACOG to begin with is not a good idea do the blooming effect...The Tritium in the ACOG is too bright for a NOD even though Triji advertises the NSN is NV compatible. For conversation sake, if you move your optic forward on your rail, you will lose your zero.  You would have to keep notes on where your zero is in the two slot positions.

Your best bet is to wear your PVS-14 (if that is what your using) and mount a IR laser to your weapon and let this do all your work out to 100-150m. The other option is to obtain the ultra expensive PVS-22 out in from of your ACOG. In this case you would not have to ever move your ACOG and the image is superb!!  Here is a few pics below to assist.
