Can anybody tell me what height the Midwest Ind QD mount puts the 2X at? Trying to get as close to 1.5 as possible, for...thermal...reasons.

To anyone using this with an ADM B5 mount, what screws did you use to mount the optic to the base? I don't plan on using any of the risers and mine came with additional mount screws of different size. Just curious in case i need to pick some up.

I want mine to work but am finding that I shoot better groups with open sights than my 2x. Not sure if it is a parallax thing or what. Used the taller mount on my duty rifle and can see the shadowy front sight base offest from the reticle. Have to add alot of windage to get it center and then the scope shadows on the right side. Not sure if the optic is messed up or the mount. Past my 90 day window for returns and it was bought as a blem from the get go. Not sure what to try.

What made you go with the 2x GLX vs the 2X SLX? What do you find is "better" on the 2x?

A work in progress. Will be changing furniture and adding a light. But so far I am liking the optic up there, the eye relief is just right. |

Are there any plans for a microprism version of the 2x that shares the same design as the new 1x, 3x, 5x SLx line?

Honestly I’d rather see a 4X GLX prism. Or make the reticle on the 2x bigger.

I’m loving mine. 2x with clear glass makes it easy to use. It seems like a perfect match for the AUG. It fits right in between the 1.5x and 3X AUG sights with the robustness, but advantage of illumination and BDC. Attached File

View Quote I think they could fit the 3x reticle in the 2x as there is only 4 ft of difference in field of view between the two of them. I didn't feel like the 3x offered that much more magnification over the 2x and the 2x offers way more than the 1x. |

This scope in 7.62x39mm is ideal on my AK. Fast to pick up for the near range, but accurate and useful for holdoffs on the long range out to the limits of the cartridge.

View Quote Hi I recently acquired a ADM B5 mount, it is machined to be hollow on the inside. The height of the mount is very comparable to a B2 with the tall riser that comes with the GLx2x. I have not mounted B5 yet, since I am using ADM B2 with the tall riser that comes with the optic. If you bought the GLx 2x brand new it should come with 5 sets of screws. I think you would you the shortest or 2nd shortest screws. If you need pics let me know I will try to post them later this week. |

Does the eye relief on this work with an A1 stock? I mean without doing any NTCH shenanigans.

Hey guys, has anyone else noticed that the screw holes machined into the spacers are countersunk, but the screws provided for the two taller spacers are round headed and not flat headed screws? For reference, flat headed screws have an angled profile to the threads that match the angled profile of a countersink, and round headed screws are flat on the bottom of the head (meant to mate to a flat surface).
The screws for the smaller spacer are the correct flat head type, which makes me wonder why the longer screws are not. I thought this was an error so I reached out to PA and they sent new screws, and they were all exactly the same. Seems that PA knows they should be flat headed screws since that's what they provided for the screws for the smaller spacer and for the base-to-spacer or base-to-optic mounting options, but in my communications PA seems to refuse to acknowledge the difference. @MARSH1 @PrimaryArms any comment on this? |

The additional screws at various lengths are for aftermarket mounts. It's in the instructions/reference sheet. |

The scope is maybe an inch forward from ideal but the eyebox is very generous and I’m getting probably 80-90% of the field of view I’d get if the scope were an inch closer to my eye. |

If i may ? What mount are you using ? The one that comes with it is aesthetically ugly as fuck and cheap looking as hell. Your mount is more to my likeing. I swear i would buy way more of the mid priced and cheaper optics if they would spend 5% of their time making the fucking mounts aesthetically attractive. The Optics looks great the mount looks like ass and destroys its sell-ability. Please spend 20 minutes of design time to make mounts that go the whole length of the optic..Smooth and Shark like.. You know ? (Think Acog-ish-- think Aimpoint-ish --) You know smooth and aesthetic... LIKE THE RIFLE ITS GOING ON ? |
