I've been using the BFG slings for years now, and In fact, I have a first generation here on my desk. I have utilized these slings on every long gun that I own. A few weeks ago I decided to try out a Magpul MS1 sling. I'm glad that I did! Awesome sling! The coyote brown is actually coyote brown, unlike the khaki look of the BFG version. While the question of two point slings comes up often, and the various manufactures of such, I would highly recommend for those that are looking for one, to take a serious look at the MS1. It really is a great, no nonsense sling!

Are you using the padded or non-padded MS1? I have the MS4 setup that is non-padded, and if you look at the tags sewn in it says MS1 on the main part. I've been thinking of getting the padded MS1 body and taking off my MS4 attachments (the QD points).

The non padded model. Paying about $35.00 for them.

ETA: The first one I purchased I installed it on my Vepr 12. The standard MS1 works great. It is slightly wider than the BFG slings, and the material is outstanding.

MS1 is a good QA sling, I have them on all my AR's.

I like the MS1 more. The material just seems a bit more comfortable and less stiff than the Vickers, and the quick-adjust seems like it doesn't slide as much on its own as the Vickers. That being said, I do think that the pull-tab on the Vickers quick-adjust makes quick-adjustment just a bit easier than with the MS1.

I tried a MS1 sling and liked it so much I sold off all my Vickers slings for MS1's.  I prefer the material and the slider over any other 2pt I've tried.

Just curious how are you attaching it at the rear?

I haven't read too much about these, and while shopping for other items, I decided to give one a try. I guess it's been a very well kept secret. I can't say enough good things about them!

The CTR has a QD socket built in (on both sides).  Front is with a BCM keymod QD socket.

I just used my factory supplied low profile push button heavy duty QD sling swivel at the rear (same as Damage Industries QD swivels), the front is directly attached to a side barrel mount sling loop.

Very simple setup but could be upgraded later on using Magpul's attachments.

I wish Magpul makes an optional adjustment slider with an extended polymer hand strap.

Ah, so you don't have to use that stupid mounted one like the other Magpul stocks. Nice. I was slightly disappointed to find out my ACS-L stock won't work unless you attach the supplied QD sling cup, only slightly as I still prefer the rear receiver mount.

ACS-L works well with the QD mount I added.
