Well, here's my first build. Had an M&P15, was perfectly happy with it. Then the panic came along and i figured i may as well get a spare lower.. then it went from there. I wanted a precision bench gun / coyote killer, and heres what i came up with.
Specs..
BHW 18" 1:8 match heavy barrel, ss
Troy lopro gas block
BCM rifle length gas tube
15" Troy Vtac Alpha
Troy sights
Larue LT-104 mount
Shadow ops lower
Shadow ops BCG
BCM charging handle
YHM upper w/ m4 ramps
Magpul MIAD grip
Magpul FDE PRS
Accushot monopod
Troy trigger guard
Vortex Viper PST 4-16x50 FFP MOA reticle
Larue/harris BRMS
Bill Springfield 3.5lb trigger that i swapped from the M&P, will upgrade to geissele later on.
11.83lbs unloaded, thing is heavy
9.1lbs without optic or bipod
I need a comp. But i dont want to be THAT GUY at the range everyone frowns at, so picking one has been alot harder than just looking at whichever one looks nicer.
It shoots consistent 1/4 groups with hotter-than-normal 55gr hand loads at 50 yards. Yes, it stacks rounds, i love it!
