I just bought a bunch of random 7.62x39 ammo, and out of curiosity, I like to look up the factory codes and headstamp info. I came across one that was stamped "99" along with an image that I recognize as one of the Russian factories. I couldn't find any info about what the 99 means on the online guides....so can any of you help me out? Thanks!

Ah gotcha. No wonder I couldn't find a factory 99. Thanks!
