I ordered a couple of them (I guess they're milled by ATM and assembled, then repackaged and sold by Century,) from a wholesale site for 650 a pop. I figured if they sucked, they sucked. For that price, a milled AK is impressive and since apparently Century only repackaged them I thought I'd give it a try.
The finish is impressive, and the wood on both matched (though I don't think that's the norm,) and I added a walnut pistol grip on the one pictured. There are tooling marks on the lightening cuts (doesn't bother me,) but overall I was incredibly impressed. Both I received were in perfect shape, no sight cant or metal gouges. Finish is even and not splotchy, and is a generally well done park job. Mags seed fine in both with some wobble, but nothing out of spec.
Went out to some isolated property and did some camping/shooting and put her through the paces. With windchill it was zero or less (3 degrees when I got up there.) Had a blast, got some fun training in. The AK seemed to work with every type of ammo (including JHP.) I shot about 400-500 rounds, most of it South African. No malfunctions, and it has the typical pleasant recoil you expect out of a milled AK.
For 650-750, you will be hard pressed to find a better deal.
