Civilian AKMs - Vepr-136 / Vepr-KM made form army surplus original AKMs with full auto taken out and a mark made on the bold head.

This one here is a 1973 AKM with Armacon Nomad-2 scope mount, PWS break, Zenit handguard, Hogue grip, Magpul stock.

I've seen those guys listed in the Molot catalog before. Sadly, unless they rebuild them on new receivers we will never see them here in the US.

The hole for the third pin.

As previously posted, the ATF has ruled once a machine gun, always a machine gun.

The 3rd pin hole is sealed by empty pin according to law in Russia as well. However there is no "once a machine gun..." rule

As long as you dont perform any changes to the receiver, pin and the bolt, its ok.
