I don't have any info but I'd like to take a minute to mention that I think those Czech SKS rifles are awesome looking!

Yes, those boys are looking very sharp. Except (I can't believe I'm the first to point out) that the rifles are not SKSes-- they are Vz52's. Czechoslovakia, as far as I know, never built SKSes; they went from the Vz52 to the AK-looking Vz58.

Thank you for pointing that out.  Now I'm even more excited.

interesting!  originally chambered in the unique 7.62x45, later ones were in 7.62x39.  I want one, just because i'm Czech!

I kick my self for not buying one of the above VZ-52s back in the 80s!

The guy selling said they came from Granada, I had no idea what they were until now.

I love my VZ52's. I had 5, Now down to 2 and a pile of parts. I sold the others, all had poor-fair barrels, but were complete with the correct slings, F/S hood and nice wood for $350 a piece with 2 mags. Ammo, I still have 3k+, not short on it yet.

The black splater coat was the best done job i've seen, kinda like it black.
The woody is original finish.

I still have ammo for my VZ52, it is still being imported

ammo for the VZ52/57 is obviously easy to find

no, up here they tend to be about triple the price of a ChiCom SKS, and a touch more expensive than a yugo

That's cool, I've never seen one of those before. Neat.
