I have a Glock 30 and use it for CCW.  I have been thinking of buying a 19 for CCW and cheaper to shoot.  Has anybody CCW'd both and maybe tell me some pro's and con's of both?

the only con is the 30 is a little thicker....but its 10+1rds of 45...outweighs the con imho :)
you can't go wrong with either but i'd get the 19 its way cheaper to shoot.

I have the 30 and am not getting rid of it by any means.  I have just been really interested in the 19 lately and I honeslty have not handled one.  I shoulod make my way to a store but just havent had time yet.

I owed one of each at one time and carried both of them. The 30 is thicker and felt it IWB. Not impossible to carry, but the G19 felt a lot thinner after taking off the G30.

IMO, 15+1 (before reload) is another pro for the G19. No caliber war intended here, but I want to put as many rounds on target as accurately and quickly as possible. I do better at this with the 19 than the 30.

I recently switched from the 19 to the 27 for CCW (the 27 was on sale). Now I find myself grabbing for the 19 for CCW after only a couple of months. Just love the 19.

I have the G19 and G30, and the G19 is my main CCW.  The G30 just feels too fat and heavy relative to the G19.  I also shoot the G19 better and it fits my hand better.  I like the extra 5 rounds also.

I CC a G30 almost every day in a CrossBreed Holster. No problems with it.

I own both, but carry the G30 with a lasermax. 10+1 of 45acp is king of this castle...

I love the G30, so much I have 2 of them. They are the smoothest shooting, most reliable 45's I have ever owned. They are extremely accurate as well. However, I cant justify carrying the G30 over the G19 due to the fatness. If I thought the 45 acp gave me a huge ballistic advantage I would consider it but I dont believe that is the case.

I carry the G30 in the colder months and a G27 in the warmer months when I'm just working in the office.

For operations I use a G21 or G22 with X300.

I prefer the .45 and .40 and I see no real advantage to 9mm other than ammo cost. But I don't buy my ammo so I stick with the bigger stuff....

Everyone should own a 19 regardless of whether you carry it or not.

I have a G30SF as winter gun OWB and G32 as summer OWB gun.  Love both of them but I think the feel of the G30SF feels better to me.

Well I picked up a G19 on the EE and am just waiting for it to arrive.  So now that I have a 19/30,  What should I get next?  I was thinking a 29 or a 36.

Cool!  The thinner G19 is more comfortable when carrying IWB.  Also 50% more shots before reload is a good thing.

I had a G29 and a G30..used the same holster for Concealed Carry...I had to send the G29 back to the factory for ejection problems...and the G30 was the best shooter (in my hands) and most reliable handgun that I ever owned .....but the G29 sure packed a punch when I pulled the trigger...some days I miss it.
