First Beretta Centurian and first .40 caliber handgun, went with this, it was NIB with 2 11 rd mags, think I bought it back in 1998 for $600, overpaid, but try finding a NIB 96F Centurian after they've been discontiunued

Beretta M9, 1 of 5,000, safe queen, no need to shoot it with all the Berettas above, think I paid $475 + tax, it's a beauty!

Figured out the bigger tag was the gun shop's inventory tag and has since been removed

I wouldn't have been able too, either.

I've handled a couple and they seem like very nice SAA copies.

Nice collection!!! I just got finished detail stripping and cleaning my uncles 92F last night.  The only thing I don't like about the 92/96 series is the "spring" for the trigger linkage.  Seems like not the best of designs..... but the weapon sure is beautiful!

I'm a proud Beretta owner, several times over.

Here are a couple of my Berettas:

Beretta 96F Centurion (recently acquired thanks to a Berettaforum.net member)

Beretta 92G Vertec frame and Beretta .22LR conversion kit in a Blade-Tech injection molded holster and mag holder

This is the only Beretta I own; and technically the only Beretta that I have ever shot.  I like the TomCat, my wife and my friends hate it.  Ooh well, I'm still gonna keep her (the gun that is).

My Beretta 92F from Italy made in 1984 I believe (I would have to go look at the warranty). It was my dad's that was issued to him by the County Sheriff up in Benewah County.

Less than 500 rounds through it (it's more of a safe queen these days - I just hate to shoot guns that look so pretty).

Paid for it today.  87Target model.

Where can I get a Phantom thread cut?  (suppressor mount, for a male adapter)

Got it this week.  Ran a dozen mags through it, and mailed it off the next day to be threaded.  LOVE this .22.

my beretta elite 2. which is also for sale in the EE for $650. I plan on getting a px4 later on and a few first generation beretta 92s plus an italian stainless LNIB beretta which i've already been offered.

I do NOT like the new beretta 92s that have come out with the recessed backstraps and slanted dustcovers. they're ugly and all the modifications were completely pointless.

I need to take a better pic, but here's my 92 First Series, manufactured in 1976, I'm told. need to call Beretta and find out for sure. no import marks for the USA, but there's "appleton, England" stamped on the right side of the frame, apparently by hand, as well as the hand-stamped numbers on the left side which you can see in the picture next to the serial number. those two things, plus the heavy holster wear, and the numbers  electropenciled or label-taped on the magazines leads me to believe that it may perhaps have been a British police gun, but I haven't yet found a way to verify my assertions.

Here is my Beretta 92FS Compact L Type -M-"  It has the single stack mag which holds 8 rnds.

My wife loves this because the slimmer grip fits her hands well.   I like full size frames and still really enjoy shooting this gun.

A lot of guys tell me they didn't know this was ever produced.  And I have never seen another with blackhardware (hammer, trigger, takedown etc)  The ones I've seen are all INOX.

Thoughts anyone?

There's a few out there.  They tend to have a cult like following.  Hardest thing about owning one is finding magazines.  I just picked up 3 from cdnn.  Mine is also all black and in the FS configuration.  I've seen alot more of them in the "D" configuration than any other.  I'll try and post some pics of my Berettas here within the next few days.

Nice, not available in the US or at least it's not the Beretta USA catalog, 9x21 IMI right?

Can you all get 9mm and 40SW over there as well?

Yes, the 98FS is a 9x21 IMI. Technically I could chance that in .40 S&W but it woudn't be legal.

I have a 96 (FS?).  It is "Stainless Steel" (it says on the barrel, I'm not positive what the difference betweenthat and inox is).  The point being, mine also has black hardware (hammer, trigger, takedown,etc.).  I've been noticing what you have...there aren't a lot out there.  Mine is a .40 cal double stack mag.  I'll post pics when I can get a hold of my girlfriend's camera.

Just picked up this baby today for $379 ...
A little worn, but appears to have a new barrel.
It came with one 15rd factory mag and the Hogue grip.
Night sights look pretty dim, but that's no biggie to me...
