This my sidearm. I use it for everything from defending my house to finishing off deer. Best pistol ever! Over 6000 rounds without a single hiccup! I am the original owner, too.

No modifications - as it came from the factory.

I no longer have it - traded for another weapon.

My latest score :

A NIB series I Classic Custom with night sights .
I swapped on a set of old Alumigrips and bar stock slide release ,
and that's the way it's staying

ETA

After putting 200 rounds through it today , I think it may have a
problem .

The bullets keep going through the same ragged hole @ 15 yards

Sorry . . .I have no idea. It's their newest model, but anything could spawn from it down the road?

I've posted this before, but it's worth repeating:

If you want a NIB 5" Kimber and don't need/want a railed gun but do want an internal extractor, check AuctionArms and Gunbroker for the 25th Anniversary Custom. It can be had for under $800 and is a "best buy" in that price range.

Lumpy,
Thanks!  Top one was a NIB pre-Series-II Royal that I found recently.  I've put 300 rounds through it with no FTF/FTE.  Trigger needs work, and I'll probably replace the sights, but otherwise it's a great spare to my Don Williams-tuned primary (underneath).
Regards,
Aubrey

Chuck Rogers of Rogers Precision.  Don Williams of The Action Works did the rest.
