I know round cylinders are in fashion, but there's a reason fluted cylinders became a thing w/ the perfection of the DA revolver trigger.

Wait, wut?  They're getting the float on your money for two weeks before you get the gun?

Never heard of such an county ordinance. Not sure it wouldn't violate state preemption. If you want @MRW, PM me and we can discuss this off site. I'd like to file a lawsuit.

Now I'm conflicted as to whether that was a good @.  Expanding Constitutional rights on the one hand, paying lawyers to do so on the other...

went old school today - I got a short stroke, lowered hammer 1873 Colt, or more accurately a Taylor and Company Short Stroke Runnin' Iron.

Ok, totally obsolete. But my horse is being trained for Cowboy Mounted Shooting, and the Runnin Iron is one of the better out of the box options for competition. That said I need a second and leather eventually. Not sure if I will ever compete - there are several different organizations that have rules. But right now I think most of the competitions near me are being run by expired barrel bunnies. (ok, cruel. Female Barrel Racers who have past the prime of their racing careers). I think other groups consist of old men playing dress up. (equally cruel).

This rabbit hole was not entirely of my doing. I only want to hunt feral hogs from horseback. But now that the training is ongoing, I needed a pistol to keep him pistol trained.

fwiw, wanted to go stainless, as competition blanks are black powder.  But the stainless version has less soul - and is completely unobtainable at the moment.
