I do not know that much about Bob.  Was this unexpected or had he been ill for a while?  Prayers for his family.

RIP Sir ... I'm sure you'll have a lot to talk about with Elmer Keith, Skeeter Skelton, Ed McGivern and many other great shooters who have gone before you.

I had always planned to get a Colt SAA in 44 Special and send it to Mr Munden for an action job. ... I finally bought the Colt earlier this year.

A sad loss indeed

It sounds like he was doing what he loved with who he loved right up until the very end. Not the worst way to go

RIP

Oh that's terrible. Definitely on my list of heroes. Which is not easy to achieve.

Godspeed Bob.

My best memory of him is shooting balloons at 500 yards with a revolver on American Shooter.

Seemed like a good guy with a great attitude.

As a younger guy, its always saddening to see another great American from an incredible generation go. Especially the fastest gun alive! They should bury him with his .45.  RIP Bob, know that I grew up watching you shoot over the past 22 or so years

I always remember the one where he shot a snubbie at 200 I think it was. Awesome.

When he appeared in one of those shows with a Colt 1911, I just had to have one so I could be like Bob. (and this was as a grown man)

He's on my short list of heroes, and man's men, with the likes of Jeff Cooper, William Cooper, and Alvin York.

We'll all miss you Bob.

I got to meet him once at a NRA convention. Super nice guy & gave everyone all the time they needed/wanted from him.

Hope he's having a sip of the finest with Skeeter, the Col. & Elmer.............
