Those are the ones made in the UAE? I thought they took them off the market for some reason?

The top gun is a 6" Model 14-2 with the 3T's (Target Trigger, Target Hammer, and Target Stocks). She appears to have been built in 1964.

The bottom gun is a .38 M&P built sometime around the early 1920's.

@colklink

Nope, their website says current ones are made in the USA.  Says "Caracal USA Newington NH" on the right side of the grip.   They did a redesign after the recall, because they weren't drop-safe.  There was also at least one case of a slide breaking, injuring the shooter that I know of.

Thanks for the information. I have kept up with them as I thought they were an interesting design, but one that's gone. Kinda like that pistol from South Africa a couple decades ago. The R1 I think?

The Squalo is a really nice pistol from what I have been seeing and reading. I want to add one to my Beretta collection. I did get a 92XI SAO Launch Edition pistol when they first came available and I like it and the classic look. Having the frame-mounted safety like the 92X Performance pistols I have was a real plus for me. The additional features on the Squalo are really nice to see.

Nice spacegun! Is this a factory Alien model for competition?
Or what goodies do you have on there?

@stiglitz_actual

Yep, it’s a factory gun for USPSA Limited Optics, the Laugo Arms Alien Creator Evolution Limited Optics (quite the mouthful). I changed the sear spring with a random coil spring I had on my toolbox so trigger pull is like #1.75 now and slapped a SRO on it. Other than those 2 things it’s stock.

I picked up a new 92XI SAO Squalo this afternoon right after lunch. I had been deliberating about it every since these came out. I went into a LGS yesterday morning to take a look at their inventory and there it was. Last night, I decided to go ahead and get it. When I got there today, I asked about a discount and they gave me one since I was paying cash. I was happy.

After a 2 day approval on a Rugged Mustang, I figured I needed another host.
Sportsmans Warehouse had this over priced FN 502 that they priced matched Midway on.
Seems like a nice little pistol. Added a 407k off my shield plus as I want an EPS carry on that.
Only issues I've found so far are the 15 rd mag didn't come with the floor plate to hold that base pad on securely, and it comes with 1 15 rd mag and 1 10 rd. Would rather have 2 15's.
