Im always on the look out for exotic wood grips for my 1911. When I came across these I just had to have them. They are highley figured English Walnut. They are a perfect match for the 1911 pistol. These grips were made by Challis grips. The fit and finish is outstanding.  They dont feel too thick in your hands, the radius is similar to the G.I cut. Challis grips has a unique bottom bevel / main spring pin cut out.  I really like how they do this. Very classy. If you happen to be in the market for exotic wood grips for your 1911, check out Challis grips. Now for some pics.

Beautiful wood, looks perfect on that Brown.  I really like Brown's blued finish.

Beautiful...
But, that pistol is too clean.  It obviously needs to be shot!
