I ordered a steel P with all the trimmings on 3/29. No fast track. This came yesterday:

That sure as hell beats 120 days!

No fitting whatsoever.
They DO the fitting themselves (to the barrel) in a model they have at the shop - their claim - they have each model they build the barrel for (mine a C2)

I have to say it's as accurate, sweet, smooth and all as the original from Staccato (non threaded I mean). Didn't notice any difference.
Shoots perfectly suppressed and not.

Strongly recommend - company is DSC Gunworks. Not sponsored by them, they don't even know I'm typing this nor they'll ever know.

Listen, I had told myself for this one I wouldn't need no threaded barrel. Wouldn't shoot it suppressed.

blah blah

I had lied to myself

ETA plus that additional "just the tip" of a barrel looks awesome

All included it is - but Staccato's is even beyond that - AND they ask you to send your upper in (so shipment back and forth, time without the handgun and higher cost)

I get you though!!! I had to think hard about doing it as well.

2011s ain't cheap

They're sort of pointless on an iron-sighted gun, but worthwhile on a gun with an optic.

I want a WMG-R sooo bad

Been on the wait list since May 2022 and not even make it on the actual build list yet

Have not shot it yet but man it looks nice and feels great.  I did some slide racking for a while then cleaned it. as others have said, the cerakote comes off like a thick sharpie.  I might continue that a couple times since I wont be able to get to the range for a bit.

Stacatto mags, holsters, EGW ignition kit, EGW slide release, and Dawson guide rod are on the way.

Rack and dry fire as much as you can stand... Keep taking the slide off every couple hundred racks and clean the rails out, then re lube and repeat. It is amazing how much Cerakote sludge will end up coming out of that thing. Definitely will slow your slide down on range trips. Take care of it now and you'll have a sewing machine.

Yes sir, exactly what I've been doing.  I tend to do this with most new handguns and ARs.

Man this thing is kinda "dirty" though.  I just took it down again and cleaned it for a 2nd time, it was definitely better than the first run but still sludgey.  It'll get another couple hundred racks and another cleaning this weekend.

Based on plenty of recommendations both here and elsewhere, I recently sent my grip off to our very own KDuly for grip reduction and stippling.  Just an exceptional experience all the way around and very high quality work.  I cant recommend him enough.
