Button is in the perfect position. For anyone interested i say buy it before it’s a $1500 shotgun. Mine has a low round count but it feels so right. |

Picked up my 300 yesterday!
Missing the front sight fiber which is annoying but not a huge deal. If anyone’s got a replacement idea, let me know. I slapped a spare Romeo5 on it using the low mount. It still feels too high for me. Feels halfway between a cheek-chin weld. Any good optic options that will bring the dot down even lower (without spending a shit load of cash)? Yes, the receiver holes are the same as the 1301. The CROM is great and I have one on my 1301; Scalarworks also makes a Sync integral mount for your choice of RMR, ACRO, or Aimpoint Micro that does not replace the rear sight.

I wanted to make certain after I commented about the mounting holes on the A300 being the same as the 1301, so I contacted Aridus and asked them, that was Adam's reply. I plan on getting one of their mounts for my A300 when I pick it up next week... |

How the hell did I miss that? Damn it sucks getting old.
By the way, your load out kit, is that Esstac? Are the shells held in the pouch with elastic loops or do the shot cards slip in them? |

8 months?? Wow, that's a long wait for a chest rig. I thought about Olongapo Outfitters, as I have some of their stuff already. But his chest rig is all loops, no shot cards, and I'd like at least a couple of shot cards. I thought about asking him if he could do a custom rig but he's not very responsive to to questions. In the meantime, the search continues...

The name escapes me at the moment, but there are cards out there that will fit perfectly in an m4 chest rig.... Right in the 30 round pouch.

The lack of customer service after the problem came to their attention is what really twisted my knickers. It took me posting a detailed review of the entire situation before they finally got my stuff shipped. |

Almost bought a gray one yesterday. Wasn’t the price of the gun that stopped me, it was the price of the mount, light, red dot, sling, cards and everything else that did

Can anyone advise if :
https://www.opticsplanet.com/lpa-adjustable-rear-shotgun-fo-sights-screw-down.html can replace the factory ghost ring sight? Its screws are 1.7" center to center, but I'm not sure about elevation/windage adjustments are compatible. |

Pulled the trigger, my LGS had 2 new Grey ones come in today, I was thinking black but damn that grey receiver looks incredible nice and contrast so well with the black, it looks like grey park. Got it on sale for $899! Big difference from $1650 for the 1301. Thoughts on on red dot optic?
Also, thoughts on ditching the front barrel band, I have read so much bad on these moving, do I even need it? Other options that won’t move? Also options for the plastic mag cap? |

Asking because I'm not shotgun educated.
Does the fact the A300 only has a single action bar vs the two on the 1301 not concern you guys? Honestly, I don't know the impact to long term reliability. Serious question. |

I've never heard of one breaking. I saw a video recently of a guy claiming he has over 10K rounds through his A300 and it's running fine. Has to be true cause it's on youtube... |

I had issues with the elevation not being compatible with the front sight but that could've just been because of the loads I was using. |

Been pretty happy with my A300 so far but is there any place to order a pro lifter? I can’t seem to find any in stock. I assume it uses the 3 inch pro lifter?

The A300UPs operating system is more simplistic than the 1301s but there are wetland A300 users that have put it through years and years of hunting in some hard environments. It is a proven design and operating system. While I think the 1301 is a better gun in terms of a better operating system, I wouldn’t be concerned in the slightest with either gun in terms of durability. At this point both the A300 and 1301 have a proven track record. |

So I received my GG&G magazine cover and clamp. Question, do I have to use the clamp? Just another thing to have to remove every time I clean it and it will mar the finish on the barrel. There is a detent to keep it in place. Just asking.
