I have a nxs 5-22 mounted on 1.375 rings on stiller tac action with 20 moa mount.   It is a pdc chassis with forward mount.  How do I mount thermal sight with 20 moa tilted scope?

OK, from what I understand, and I could have gotten this incorrect, but you're shooting at long range and your rifle has a forward mounted rail.

I am guessing you're looking for something like a CNVD-T which is recommended for use against man-sized targets out past 500m IIRC.

And you want to know if your scope will work with it, with 20MOA mounts?

It should do. The FOV is well over the 1/3 of a degree or so that the mounts will lower your zero by.

Or am I misunderstanding the question?

Regards

David

I think he's asking if the Front mounted clip on is inclined at 0 moa, and the scope is sitting on a 20 moa base. I.e. the two optical planes are not coincident.  I.e. is there a shift since the optical planes are marginally offset. My "guess" (since I've never used this sort of setup) is that there might be a small theoretical shift but not enough to make a practical difference.
