The removable forend could make caliber/barrel conversions user level changes with the proper gas piston for each. I don't know if that will ever be a reality, but it could be done. http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e118/michealj88/IMG_0941_zps8jbv0iyb.jpg View Quote Thanks for that pic! What do those two silver-colored pins (?) do? Maybe B&T have caliber conversion kits up their sleeves. |

Didn't see this yet, but do they take proprietary mags (556)? What mags for the 9mm? The 223 takes any regular ar mags. The 9 takes their own proprietary polymer mags, same mags as the tp9, p26, and kh9. And the 45 takes its own proprietary metal mags. Do you happen to know why the APC45 mags are steel and not polymer? |

Do you happen to know why the APC45 mags are steel and not polymer? My best guess is because lowers on the 9 and 45's appear to be exactly the same. So I'm guessing a polymer 45 mag would have been to thick to fit into the magwell. |

I just wanted to post because I want to keep this thread alive. Really an awesome looking rifle. The B&T APC is so much more elegant in design than its peers. Too bad the price tag is so outrageous. Other than it's elegance I don't see what you are getting for twice the price of the Bren. Especially since it is quite similar in operation.
That said, if I had that kind of extra cash laying around I would get into APCs. |
|
[#7]
I bought it just because I love the way it looks and to add to my collection, the fact that it shoots very well is just an added bonus. Other than better accuracy and looks, it is pretty much the same as my Bren and Scar.

Are AR-15 stock adaptors available yet?
They're listed on the same retailer's site, no description or pictures though. And there doesn't seem to be anything on B&T's site either. |

Standard AR fcg (which includes ALG) will work. I have been told that the Geissele will not due to interference of the trigger with the APC selector axle. I have yet to try it myself. So in Canada machining and heat treating are "issues"? WTF Canada.
The only issue I've had with mine is feeding the damn thing is getting expensive, I'm approaching 2000 rounds and I really bought this thing for the novelty of it. My CZ Scorpion was supposed to become my main range toy and I think I've only fired about 500 rounds through it and I've owned it longer |
