Recently aquired a threaded barrel through the EE. I also remembered I had an old Insight Tech M6 kicking around and decided to play around with it. The laser doesn't work, but the light is reasonably bright enough for indoor night use, but I'm exploring options to upgrade it to LED. I also need supressor sights, which will likely be next as I have an X200 if I need brighter light.

Took the TiRant 45S out to the range yesterday, performed pretty well. Reliably hitting the targets at 15 yards, 20 was a bit of a stretch but I could do it 3/5 times. Did run into a few issues though. The ASAP system kept rotating, after every mag it would be sitting between the notches and I'd have to twist it back into place. Also tried to unthread itself about halfway through, since the ASAP is right hand thread but the HK barrel is left hand so it made keeping it tightened annoying. In regard to the sound level, it was much quieter than I expected. Didn't test it without earplugs because there were other shooters, but it definitely made more of a hissing sound than an actual gunshot.
