My stamp just came in for a tirant 9mm, so I'm needing a pistol to put it on....I know, I'm a stamp collector!
Can't make my mind up which Glock I want to dedicate to this can....my 17 or 19.  Pretty sure it comes down to preference, but help me out here.
Is there any distinct advantage to either model?
Thanks boys!

Phil

The 17 will balance better, but either is fine. You can't go wrong.

I have an Osprey for my G19...works just fine

ETA: well since this has turned into show and tell...

It comes down to personal preference.

For me, the 17/34 frame fits better in my hand than the 19, so that's the one I suppressed.

Large hands here so the 17 frame suits me better.

I really like running my 17 with an AAC Ti-Rant. But, the 19 would be great as well. I only have one of each so I got a threaded barrel and raised sights for the 17 and kept my 19 with the regular height night sights to carry concealed.

Threaded barrels for BOTH.

Glock 19 FTMFW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe I'm just an odd cookie - but I find I don't shoot the 17 as well as I do a 19.

I have an Osprey9 and will be bringing home my TiRant 9s in a few weeks. I've used the Osprey on my 17,26, and two 19's  without any issues. They all suppress well and are fun to shoot. My preference lies with the 19 just because its more comfortable to me.

I have both setup for suppressed use and shoot the G19 far more often than the G17 suppressed. As far as I'm concerned the gen2 G19 is the perfect 9mm pistol in every regard; size, weight, capacity, balance, accuracy, etc. It's equally great suppressed.

For pure suppression capabilities? I'd go G17. Maybe even then G34.

But if pure suppression isn't as important as shootability and you shoot the G19 better, get the 19.

I'm getting a lot of mileage out of this pic.

I had this same question a month or so ago. Went with the 19, fits my hand good.  The hump actually helps overcome the supressor handing out. Acts like a wedge in my palm.

Shoots 124gr subsonic (minor power factor) without issues and is very quite.

I prefer the Glock 19 because the frame fits my hand better and Glock 19 is best Glock.

pardon the derail, but is that red dot mounted with the Lone Wolf slide melt option or something else? thinking of getting slide melt + race gun with forward dovetail. It comes with tall irons - perfect for seeing over a can
