Think the Tactical pug needs to learn some boundaries.........I could deal with it using my guns, but never my Shotgun New and booze. If the Pug has your SG News what ya going to read when you're on the pot?   LOL

551 handguard
Magpul trigger guard
Magpul CTR stock
ACOG in a LaRue mount
TangoDown sling mount
Aurora receiver pin

Have since added a 1/2" cheek riser to the stock and have an Aurora rear sight on order.

What is the cheek weld like with an ACOG scope attached like?  I'm thinking of getting a 556 and putting a TA01NSN on it, but it almost looks like you need a cheekpeice on the stock to put your head in the right place.  The scope looks extremely tall on the rifle from the photos I've seen.

Do my eyes fool me?  Thanks.

Just curious.  How much does something like that cost?.  Haven't seen any 556's in my area in some time.

I think I paid around $1,095 without the added extras.

Did your's come without the flip up front and rear?  Can't tell from the picture... maybe I should go look on my desktop rather than my tiny notebook.

It's the optics ready model with no front or rear sight.

I just bought this SIG 556 slightly used at a great price, including the ACOG and ACE stock.  To make it fit me better, since I am used to holding a AK close and tight, I shortened the stock by 1", rearranged it so that it folds to the right (easier to work with), and added a home made foam rubber cheek riser which forms a perfect cheekweld for me.  I am getting more used to the front heaviness of it, and like it a lot.

BTW, this smilie looks really funny to me: http://i249.photobucket.com/albums/gg225/DARIVS_ARCHITECTVS/MySIG556.jpg

Put a grip pod on.
Last thing I need at the YHM QD mount/FH for the suppressor I have coming.

Wish I could put a Magpul on mine, but being in NY I have to have a stock that is fixed... so my old ZM got the permanent lock-open!

This is my choice for a fixed stock SIG

I ordered a replacement grip that is the newer version that covers the gap. Now I just need Aurora iron sights when they're available.

Simple, but for the Californians amongst us...

Got to look into a light and forward grip, I guess.

How do I get this stock?

That is a Swiss Arms 551-1SP lower on my 556 upper.  The stock will not fit the 556 lower and can only be installed on a Swiss lower.  They are available, but will cost you between $1500 to $1800 when you find one.

Lancer.

Check the mag section for info, or google it.  Several distributors carry them.  My 1st impression is that they are pretty good.

They are Lancer and I bought mine from AIM Surplus.
I had zero issues with them, they run good in my AR and 556.

Actually the one I have is made for airsoft.  It is all metal and is virtually identical except for the mounting. I used the pig nose adapter that the ACE side folding adapter uses in order to bolt it on. but it worked well enough.

I was thinking strongly about the YHM side folder, but did not want to drop the INSANE amount of money they want for it only to find I did not like it. So I got the $40 knockoff to try it out. Meh. It is ok, but nothing special, and certainly not worth the $340 YHM wants for it.

I have since changed to the regular stock as seen in the pictures above on this page, and actually I think I will put the CTR back on..although not with the side folding adapter.  I don't really care for side folders. 99% of the reason I got it was to shut up the people bitching about no side folder on the Sig 556.

Nice rifle I really like mine.
Is that a hendsholt 4X hk scope?  how did you mount it and where did you get the mount?  Thanks for the info.
I have looked through one and it is clear as I have seen.  Thanks

Here is mine, traded for it and put the UBR on it and painted the handguards.

Oh, enjoy the toes....
