Do you have a weight on the gun with or without the can? I'll have to toss it on the scale. It's a little heavy with the can but without is nice and light. (for a 7.62 battle rifle). |

Thanks! About my gun...another 86 rounds through mine, for a total of 390. 20 of Federal T762TNB1, 20 rounds of Federal American Eagle, 40 rounds of whatever it was Kevin and Casey were shooting (looked like Remington UMC?) and 6 rounds of MagTech. The Magtech will not cycle. A couple weeks ago I had run 30 rounds of it and it ran. Yesterday, it would not cycle a round. Shot and ejected, then "click" of the hammer falling on an empty chamber. Not enough power to fully push the BCG to the rear and pick up the new round. It was sketchy and as an inexpensive import I was curious to see if the Magtech would work. I'm chalking it up as a "do not shoot" ammo. In other news, we did shoot it at 100, 200 and 300 yard steel plates. Easy day. That Dennis' rifle? |

Yeah Jimmy, I was hoping you were joining us We had (4) 16" SR25s there for the 4th. All kinds of flavors!! (2) ECCs w/ MAMS, (1) ECC w/ AAC and (1) EMC w/ Surefire Casey was handing out ammo like a crack dealer!! |
|

I wouldn't say something as prestigious as "crack dealer," I just viewed it as opportunities for folks to try something they've never used before. Remember "The first taste is always free."

Class III dealer called, SureFire 762K can be picked up Sat. in the AM.
19 months later, from the day I ordered with Major Kevin/Casey I need to bring can over to be checked |

You know I never miss an opportunity to hang out with the KAC junkies but, unfortunately, Im in Commiefornia for my wife's family reunion. Also spending time with my family as well so guess I'll just have to catch the next one. Would have definitely loved to check out that Elcan. |

How does the Elcan 1.5-6 perform on the SR-25?
|
|
|
I'd guess pretty well. I liked the one I had on my M4! I wouldn't buy one with my own cash though...too many better/cheaper options out there at this point.

Thanks fellas,
Looking forward to hitting the range, let's schedule something! |

This Sunday at VCGHC, CFDCC 2 gun Match...
300m max target range so its a little biased to the 5.56mm guns, but I'm shooting my SR-25 |

I debated it –– but the reset time would be a killer.

I really don't want to wait another 7 months for another surpresor Free Originally Posted By cdfIII:
