I'll have to toss it on the scale.  It's a little heavy with the can but without is nice and light. (for a 7.62 battle rifle).

Changed out my plastic pieces for lighter colors for the summer. Those black parts get hot too quickly in the mid-day summer sun.
One of these days  I'll find the right green color paint to spray on the plastic parts.  None of Magpul's colors come close to the vivid greens of East Texas in  summer.

FYI: I love that LaRue grip for precision shooting but it's bit uncomfortable when carrying the rifle by the grip for 4-5 hours at a time.
I plan on switching back to the Magpul MIAD next week.  I have a Leupold Mark 8 CQBSS for this rifle but have had so much fun shooting raspberry shaped groups at 100 with the Horus TRMR2 reticle that I keep procrastinating switching them out.  Eventually I will buy a SR-25 ECR and put this mount and scope on it.
This setup is wickedly accurate.

Not my gun, but it was cool to see the Elcan 1.5-6x. That was the first time I had gotten a chance to check it out. Thanks!

About my gun...another 86 rounds through mine, for a total of 390. 20 of Federal T762TNB1, 20 rounds of Federal American Eagle, 40 rounds of whatever it was Kevin and Casey were shooting (looked like Remington UMC?) and 6 rounds of MagTech. The Magtech will not cycle. A couple weeks ago I had run 30 rounds of it and it ran. Yesterday, it would not cycle a round. Shot and ejected, then "click" of the hammer falling on an empty chamber. Not enough power to fully push the BCG to the rear and pick up the new round. It was sketchy and as an inexpensive import I was curious to see if the Magtech would work. I'm chalking it up as a "do not shoot" ammo.

In other news, we did shoot it at 100, 200 and 300 yard steel plates. Easy day.

That Dennis' rifle?

You know I never miss an opportunity to hang out with the KAC junkies but, unfortunately, Im in Commiefornia for my wife's family reunion. Also spending time with my family as well so guess I'll just have to catch the next one. Would have definitely loved to check out that Elcan.

How does the Elcan 1.5-6 perform on the SR-25?

I'd guess pretty well.  I liked the one I had on my M4!  I wouldn't buy one with my own cash though...too many better/cheaper options out there at this point.

So far everything has worked out fine
I really like the FOV and clarity.  I have only had it out to 200 yds.
I plan on running carbine matches with it in the near future, will have to report back then

I can't wait to see it in action. We need to take it out to 600 yards or so and really test it out.

Throw that triple dropper out there at 300m, that should tilt the balance a little bit

Now if we could only get YHM to make a KAC threaded adapter for their Phantom surpressor

I really don't want to wait another 7 months for another surpresor

Do you know if it is a two chamber or single chamber muzzle brake?

Hey Teufelhunden1,  Will you help me out?
You posted to FDE color AR ( Posted: 2/17/2012 6:31:46 AM CDT)
The bottom one, it is a monolithic rail ? What is it?
And what is the model for the butt stock? Is it Magpul right? But it is a UBR?
Is it a factory built KAC ? or what is it? I like that rig a lot :)
