I don't need 1x because I'm using the red dot, and 10x is a decent mid range magnification level, but I wanted to be able to adjust the parallax and also be able to use the grid reticle at magnifications other than max, so ffp was necessary. It's relatively lightweight compared to other scopes with similar features. the chevron reticle doesn't bother me, but I'm not using it as a precision optic. I also never dial, so I'm glad it has locking turrets. Overall, it had the features I wanted. I picked it up used on the EE for $500 so the price was right, as well. |
