View Quote Yes the hand guard is a B&T. Pretty straightforward to install and get a very tight fit with the way it tensions with the front hand guard pin. I am confident a laser would hold zero with no issues. I had no problems with it scratching the finish as it doesn’t contact the gun anywhere that the factory hand guard doesn’t already, short of negligence when installing I think you’d be fine. And yes it’s light, there are plenty of lightening cut outs between picatinny sections and helps it from getting hot as well I’m sure. Honestly with how short MP5 hand guards are anyways and the guns themselves being pretty lightweight to begin with I wasn’t really considering it. |

I suppose I could hunt with it someday, but I likely won’t. I’d probably put either a red dot or an ACOG on it. |

Magpul clapped out AP5. Kinda want to try the A2 stock instead but not sure how it will perform for me with my current optic set up

I've heard good things about both so you really can't go wrong with either. That's my non-answer answer. You're welcome. |

View Quote I’ll get pictures with it extended later today but so far I think it works out great. I don’t have the a3 to compare it to but it locks up solid and not much play when extended. Fairly comfortable for cheek wield with low profile optics but think it may be a problem for higher set ups. View Quote There was a whole thread on it, but it rolled off. Mine locks up solid and has a not great, not terrible cheekweld when looking through the iron sights. I do not have an A3 to compare it too, but the B&T side folder is more comfortable. I should mention there was a burr on one of the rail slots that interfered with extending the stock, but a minute with a round file took care of that. I keep the B&T on the gun, and the Magpul in the case if I want to swap it out for some reason. |

No it’s great. My only complaint if that they didn’t put the stock in a way that it was smooth on your cheek instead of the adjustment bumps. It’s not totally uncomfortable, but it could be better |
