Hello All,
Jim McMinn County (Athens) Member of IUOE Local 917, I work here as the Training Director/ Instructor Been shooting as long as I can remember, been reloading and casting since 1980. I love my AR15's but I would like to build an AR10, I don't know why, I just want one. |
|
|
Welcome, y'all!
I've been wanting to build an AR10 pattern gun, as well. I think it's because I have a fascination with wanting to build up a bolt gun, but then I remember that ARs exist and suddenly I don't want a bolt gun anymore, just a large caliber AR. |

Does anyone have a spot for dove hunting for a dad & his 22yo son? Both safety conscious, lost our long-time spot North of Portland to home builders.
Nashville, Hendersonville, Gallatin area? I have a gig Fri but will be back and could make early Sat morning. Any other day after that would work too! Thanks! |

Firefighter/Paramedic and ER Nurse Just moved to Murfreesboro from Birmingham, AL to live with the in laws. My Fiance and I are closing on a house in Nolensville in March. She grew up in Brentwood, but I know nothing about the area or gun laws. I did meet some guys from murfreesboro at a Frank Proctor class in Talladega, maybe they're ARFCOMers. |

Just realized I never posted in here when we moved two + years ago.
Matt Chattanooga area (Soddy Daisy) Came from AZ for 13+ years, Idaho Falls before that. Work remote as an email system engineer for a certain large webhost/registrar. I spend most of my time fly tying/fishing lately, which as it turns out can be much more expensive than shooting. |

Howdy everyone. Just a new guy checking in from south Nashville. My name is Scott and I've been shooting since I was about 8 (which was about 58 years ago). Bought my first AR-15 a few months ago and have really been enjoying it since.
There's a ton of information here and it will take me a while to dig through it, but I'm pleased to be here and I'm sure I'll enjoy hanging out for a while. |

For anyone in the Knoxville area. Stop in at Shoot Point Blank across the street from Cotton Eyed Joe's and say hi.
I'm there most Monday's from 10:00 - 5:00. David |

Checking in from Chapel Hill... Moved down from WV. Family has lived here for years. Love the state and the country side is unbeatable. Grew up in Mississippi and have missed how much nicer the people are as a rule when your truly in the south.

Chattanooga Graphic Design, Sign Maker, Prop Builder I started my graphic design career back in the early 00's working as in-house designer for Dawson Precision Firearms outside Austin, TX. https://dawsonprecision.com/ I learned a lot about guns from Dave and the guys there, and I plinked with pistols early on, but never personally owned a rifle til now. I'm brand new to riflery, and though I've bought two rifles in the last year, I haven't gotten to shoot yet (a crime in itself). I figure it's about time I step up and round out my duty as an American and learn the one skill that we might end up needing at some point. I'm looking for someone to shoot with and learn from, as well as getting involved in the world of AR shooting. As far as I can tell, Chattanooga is woefully lacking in good rifle ranges that don't cost a fortune, so I'm scouting for a place to practice in or around Hamilton County. |

Nashville Web developer (hopefully soon a law student) Been shooting for about 10 years, lived in TN for about 12-13 first Chattanooga, then Oak Ridge, now Nashville. Shoot as much as I can along with some friends and my wife. Have an unhealthy obsession of tinkering with things and once I got a lathe that went out of control. Trying to get into making all the oddball guns I've wanted. |

Hey folks,
Name's Andrew Moving at month's end to Nashville (not original, I know...). I'm a grad student and presuming I take care of my business, I aim to put down roots in the state and don't have any intention of leaving. Stopping by Charlie Haffners to sign-up for membership will be a day one priority Anecdotally, everyone i've bumped into or interacted with here has been friendly, courteous, and welcoming. I truly appreciate it! |
