Basically the German ZDF interviewed Dr. Zakrejsek the head of the IWÖ (basically our local version of the NRA) on gun violence in Austria - you see the German public is concerned that several would be robbers were shot dead by legally carrying business owners in the last few years (as self defence is still a legally valid reason to own a gun one may legally carry or keep a gun in one's business premises).
And of course the ZDF had to bring in a "ciminal sociologist" to declare their horror of us knuckeldragging gun owners and to show what madman the average gun owner is, they showed a piece about the asshole that shot 3 policemen and a medic a month ago.
Still the ZDF could not shut up Dr. Zakrejsek and I think our point of view was heard, the makers of the ZDF are douchebags though.
