These two didn't trasnlate well into digital, but oh well. These two won me first place in the sports multiple catagory for WSPOY. Of the about 10 photogs sitting on the base line I was the only one to catch this. Everyone else was picking up thier long lenses for what was eventually going to happen on the ohter end of the court. I stayed with the action and it paid off.

DK-Prof.

I followed your photos here from the other thread.  You have a hell of an underwater camera.

I can only say, Dam!

Thanks!!!

Ironically, I have a quite inexpensive regular digital camera (about $300 a few years ago), and a very inexpensive housing for diving (about $150).  This past dive trip was the first time I was trying out an external strobe that I just bought (about $300) - but I haven't really figured it out.

Real nice underwater camera equipment costs big bucks (like many thousands of dollars), and I imagine it is a huge hassle to schlep around with all the other dive gear, so I don't really want to do that - assuming I could afford it, which I can't, so it's a bit of a moot point.

But I'm glad you like that pics.  Compared to the pros, they are quite lame, but I like them a lot, and it's a lot of fun having a photographic recrod of what I saw on a dive.  Thanks again.

I haven't checked out the Photoshopping army forum since it used to just be photos of ILL and TRG doing dirty deeds to one another .....but I saw the print swap thread and thought I'd take a look.

Some damned good stuff in here... Wow! Whodathunk a bunch o' gunnuts were such artistes!

Coincidentally just last week I was going through a bunch of photos I've taken over the years and decided to print some of them out to hang around the house.

Here are a few that I liked from around London.

It's from a dance show photocall I did in college. At the time I did all the photcalls for the theater, as well as worked as a photog for the university and a photo/visuals editor for the school paper.

All the stuff flying around in the air is money. It was the final paart of the dance number. I think I got a couple more at home too but just not on line anywhere. I'll get some more up sometime as time allows.

Penguin, that picture is AWESOME.

This is one of my favorite photographs.  In hind-sight, I should really have used my polarizing filter to get rid of the reflection on the watch face, but overall I like the way it turned out.
