I'm using it for a data drive on an extra computer.
 Attached File I just looked at the SMART info for it.There's nothing unique on it. Once I saw this I looked to see when I had bought it. 11/26/2010.

No reallocated sectors or other issues so use it until it starts having errors.
4 years of power on time isn’t all that much. I have drives in my arrays currently closing in on 8 years. |

Until you start getting reallocated sectors there's really no reason to replace it. You should also have backups of all important data...which you do...right? |
