This forum is considered to be a technical forum. It is NOT GD, the Bear Pit, or Team. Discussion is to be polite and respectful, as well as respectable. We want to get off to a good start, and trolling is not a wise way to begin. This was posted a little bit ago in the tacked thread in GD by GoatBoy:

I wanted to pull all the threads out of the GD for a real and rational area for those topics to take place. I don't have a problem with anyone discussing their religious beliefs, their theories and ideas, their prayers, or even an occasional goat sacrifice. The very idea of religion or faith is one internal to people. It's something that can't be given or taken from someone. With this in mind, those who will seek it, or seek to discuss it, will find their way into that forum with the expectations of finding answers to their questions. Sure there will be some who will go there to question or argue against others, but that already exists in the GD.

The idea is not to pull apart the requests for best wishes and prayers which are shared when many are in need, but to pull out the discussions which need to take place for any and all religions and place them in one easy to find location. I ask that those who partake in those discussions keep one thing in mind. Respect each other and each others beliefs.

Threads and discussion in this forum are to be serious discussions of "things religious" and it is NOT a place to taunt Christians or their beliefs. Again, troll at your peril.

I would also suggest reading the announcement thread in this forum, located first on the list.

I really like the idea of a troll free religion threads forum. Sounds like one of those one strike you're out places.

I think that's a fair rule for everyone to keep. Keep it civil. You can vehemently disagree with someone and still be civil about your disagreement.

I'm getting the impression you want Thor's hammer to fall on anyone who offers anything but glowing praise of Catholicism while you are often the first to bash the religion of others. It doesn't work that way. I suggest caution. Great caution.
