I pray for her speedy recovery. An elderly great uncle of mine recently went through some trouble that was ultimately diagnosed as CHF, and after medication and recouperation he feels better than he has in quite some time. I hope there is as simple a resolution in your wife's case. Jim |

Good luck to you and your wife.
My father was diagnosed 15 years ago and is still alive and kicking at age 81. There is hope. |

My most sincere prayers for you and your wife, brother. Stand firm in your faith, and call on Jesus for His intercession and will.
Please let us know how she is doing when you get an opportunity. |

My wife is going to be OK. I cannot express how much I appreciate you folks for praying for her. I've gotten only a couple of hours sleep since my last post, so I am going to get some sleep. I will keep you all updated.

She is resting. She is doing much better. We both had quite a scare Friday night, but everything is looking positive. She had a buildup of fluid in her tissues caused by a kidney issue we already knew about. They said she had around 25 pounds of water in her tissues she shouldn't have and gave her some powerful medicine to help get rid of it. She had been complaining about chest pain for a couple of days, but she hates hospitals and wouldn't go no matter how many times I asked her. The situation forced things and she is getting the treatment she needs now. Thank you very much for your prayers. |

Yee-ha! When is the hospital going to release her and she can go home. I hope soon. But this is super serious stuff. I wish your wife a speedy recovery. BTW: This mid-week, I'm going to donate blood platelets for an unrelated/anoymous patient being treated for cancer at the City of Hope Medical Ctr, Durate Calif(about 10 miles east of Los Angeles), the place is really nice and everything, but as the old saying goes "there is no place like home with your familly and friends." I count my blessings every day that I go there only because I want to and not because I have to. |

The medication helped her get rid of the fluid buildup that caused her problems. She is completely recovered, but we are monitoring the situation very closely. Thank you all for your prayers! There were some tense moments that Friday night.
