[Last Edit: M4ger]
2024's plan is to reach 50,000.
This can be met in 50 weeks, or 25. It only depends on my efforts, and whatever you decide to do. Strength training will be done alongside. Let's get after it. Updating from page 17: Originally Posted By M4ger: Thanks for your thoughts macro. My thoughts are a little jumbled at this time of the day since I've only had 1 cup of coffee. Giving a visual update once a month I think would be very good for those of us who are willing to see what our projected completion is for 2024. I am sticking to my plan of doing 50k because by year's end, I want to be at 250,000 since 01JAN2021, but for those of us who have no defined goal, the sky is the limit. I do believe that those of us who are updating our stats every time we do our workouts are willing to be "graphed" but I also think we should all chime in individually in this thread to ensure this. I will update my first post in this thread to make others aware that if you want to be part of the visual representation, just post an O.K. View Quote |

Mind is focused on the murph. Did a lot of dumbell curls tonight...a few hundred. Did 100 squats in-between sets of pushups. Got in 715 pushups. Now at 32,025 YTD.
Just ordered my weighted vest....although I'm kinda toying with the idea of just running with my chest rig and 10 30-rnd mags Need to run again this week. And hopefully the pull up rack is ready before the weekend. Grind on brothers! |

Over the weekend I hit the range twice to shake the dust off and practice a bit before this weeks match. All these pushups have strengthened my wrists a lot, and my endurance for shooting a pistol is way better. My aim, steadiness, and stamina are significantly improved. Had not expected that, and its a very welcome benefit. Never really thought the doing pushups would make me a better shot, but it appears it is. |

At no point today did I work out.
I simply never made the time. Today was about errands and tasks. Had to do laundry, clean up a few rooms, do dishes, cook a few meals, run to the hardware store, organize a closet, move some things around in the work shop....and a bunch of other small crap not worth mentioning. So I never made time for push ups today. But.....what I did do is drop to the floor in between tasks and do random sets of pushups throughout the day. I never made time for them...but I did get a few in here and there. Didn't get to my usual numbers, but still managed to crank out 290 reps today....in the bedroom, in the laundry room, in the kitchen...in the garage. 34150 YTD Also did a few pull ups every time I went out to the shop...got maybe a dozen good ones and few cheaters. For a day that I never had a dedicated workout, I'm satisfied. |

Looks like a busy week for all of us, a family road trip slowed me down for the week. I was able to get in my 500 push ups and a 3 mile walk each day but haven't lifted since last Sunday.
